We're Andrew & Amber Olafsson. We're a couple of ministry leaders and song-writers out of the Charlotte, NC area. OUR STORY
We are your normal, everyday people who love God and just want people to know Him. If you watched our video, you know our story is an unconventional one and that we have a heart for FREEDOM and UNITY.
No, we’re not a church, or this famous band who tours around and has all these gigs set up. We’re a grassroots, writing-songs-in-the-field-like-David kind of movement.
You learned in the video about the desire we had to produce our own worship songs with the heart of our mission: to bring unity to the Church and freedom to people, but we lacked the skill. After praying over this vision for a few months, song lyrics started coming to Amber… so she wrote them down, because she didn’t know what else to do. Then, they prayed some more for the right person to release the music... God has been bringing people ever since!
THE ALBUM
This worship album will be our heart and soul played out in music. Our songs are about people experiencing freedom, about how as a body, we've got to come together to see this long-awaited revival. These songs are what our hearts long to see, and we believe it is the desire of many others to see the church united and completely free. This is how we're changing the world, writing anthems of revival.
THE NEED
This is a community-funded project, because we know there are many out there who believe in people need to experience FREEDOM in Christ and want to see the church UNITED. This is a tangible way you can give to that cause. We're looking for people to partner with us and be a part of producing this album. We are an independent worship group and are not backed by a record label. We can't do it without you and we wouldn't want to.
In order to complete this project and get these songs out the people who need the hope they carry, we need to raise $15,000. The funds we raise will pay for recording/studio costs—mixing and mastering the songs, producing a limited amount of cds, creating promotional materials for the album, making music videos, and spreading the word about our worship music.
